Tool Cloud Plans // Side View 1

These are some simple drawings/plans for the tool cloud I built in the video below. It’s a simple woodworking organization platform that floats over your work bench.

Here’s the tool cloud video.

If you haven’t already seen the video, check it out:

And here’s how I built the tool cloud.

First off, below is an in-depth article with a lot of pictures showing how I built this woodworking organization cloud. If you’re interested, feel free to check it out.

The Build Article

Install the clamp and saw racks.

This is a build article showing how I built the tool cloud. There’s some information here that isn’t in the video above. The “Tool Cloud” is essentially a floating tool organization platform that I suspended over my workbench. It holds all of my measuring and layout tools. My small clamps, hand saws, hammers and mallets. I mean, it’s absolutely awesome in my opinion because the stuff you use all the time is right there above you.

And here are the plans.

Well, they’re more like drawings than plans. I wanted to give you an idea of how I built this woodworking organization cloud. But I also wanted to show you how I attached it to the ceiling. These drawings will give you an idea of the webbing design I used.
